BYU Tickets is proud to partner with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix), a nonprofit organization founded by veterans dedicated to support and honor the US. military community, veterans, and their families.
What is Vet Tix?
By partnering with Vet Tix, BYU Tickets supports the mission of Vet Tix of providing tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories, and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. Vet Tix supports our troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences, during and after their years of service to our country. Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches of currently serving military and veterans. Vet Tix secures tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation. Since 2008, Vet Tix has given out over 30 million free event tickets to more than 2 million members nationwide! For more information about Vet Tix, click here.
How Can I Donate?
Donating tickets to Vet Tix is a FREE electronic service. To donate your BYU event tickets to Vet Tix, follow the instructions below.
- Donate your tickets no later than 24 hours before the start of the event.
- Sign in to your BYU Tickets account and navigate to the ticket transfer feature.
- Select the event from which you would like to donate tickets.
- Using the transfer by email method, enter first name VET and last name TIX with email address donate@vettix.org
- Complete the free ticket transfer.
Once you complete the steps of donating tickets to Vet Tix, Vet Tix takes care of finding a home for your ticket(s). Vet Tix has an extensive screening process to make sure that your donated ticket(s) find a home.

Additional Information
- From Athletics to OnStage, you can donate any ticket in your BYU Tickets account to Vet Tix.
- Your donation to Vet Tix is tax-deductible. Patrons that donate their tickets will receive an e-mail communication at a later date outlining that the taxable benefits of their donation.
- After donation, your original tickets will no longer be valid for admission. Any individual presenting invalid tickets for admission will be denied entry into an event.
- If you have previously posted your tickets for sale on SeatGeek, please remember that you must DELETE your listing, and not just DEACTIVATE your listing, for your inventory to appear for you to donate your tickets.
